Web 2.0

Now, I'd like you to respond. What do you think the title of the video means? How does Web 2.0 affect someone who is ready to enter the workforce? How does it affect people who are already in the workforce? What do you think it means when it says that we will have to rethink everything?

I think that the title Web 2.0 is trying to explain how technology and all of its advances are taking over how we live our lives. Technology and the internet especially have come so far in the recent years, it has been almost difficult to keep up with. People have become totally dependent on their "gadgets" to get through each day normally. I think that this was shown in the video also because we are so dependent on technology and it is so dependent on us. I think that Web 2.0 affects people who are entering the workforce because to be "up-to-date", one has to be able to use technology. Almost any job would require someone to be contacted through e-mail or a cell phone. It also affects people who are in the workforce, because they have to be able to know how to adapt and advance to all of the changes. I think that we have to rethink everything constantly just because the web and technology, in general, is always changing and becoming more advanced. We have to always be able to adapt to new ideas. We also have to think of how different life was five years ago and how much more different it will be five years in the future. We need to constantly be rethinking the possibilities.
